Onion winter Tatra F1 is a mid-early, high-yielding hybrid of the Swift type, intended for field cultivation. The variety is characterised by high tolerance to vernalisation, which ensures yield stability under winter cultivation conditions.
It produces round-shaped onions, very well uniform, with strong yellow skin. This results in a high commercial yield with an attractive appearance. The variety is intended for the fresh market.
The vegetation period is approximately 280 days, and the recommended sowing rate is 0.75–1.0 million seeds per hectare.
