Description
ACTION OF OPTIMUS 175 EC:
Optimus 175 EC is an advanced cereal growth regulator, whose main task is effective prevention of crop lodging. The product is absorbed through the leaves and stems of cereals and then transported to meristematic tissues, where it inhibits excessive elongation of internodes. This key action leads to shortening and stiffening of stems, which significantly increases plant stability and minimises the risk of yield losses caused by lodging. An advantage of the preparation is that it does not negatively affect root length or the overall plant mass. The intensity of the effect is closely related to the developmental stage, cereal variety, and prevailing conditions, with the greatest shortening affecting internodes actively elongating during application.
Benefits of using Optimus 175 EC:
- Effective protection against lodging: Improves crop stand stability by shortening and stiffening stems.
- Optimal utilisation of yield potential: Prevents losses resulting from damage and difficult harvesting.
- No negative impact on root system: Does not reduce root length or total plant mass.
- Versatile application: Intended for use on a wide range of winter and spring cereals.
- Targeted action: The strongest shortening affects internodes intensively growing at the time of treatment.
