Description
ACTION OF PROTENDO EXTRA:
PROTENDO EXTRA is a fungicide with systemic action, which means that after application the active substances quickly penetrate inside the plant and circulate in its sap. This allows protection even of those parts of the plant that were not directly covered by the spray liquid. The combination of prothioconazole and tebuconazole effectively inhibits the development of mycelium and sporulation processes, making it an indispensable tool in the control of leaf and ear diseases.
CONTENT OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES:
prothioconazole (compound from the triazole group) - 125 g/l
tebuconazole (compound from the triazole group) - 125 g/l
Advantages of using PROTENDO EXTRA:
- Double barrier: Two complementary triazole substances reduce the risk of resistance development in pathogens.
- Broad spectrum: Effectively controls major diseases, including fusarium of ears, septoria leaf blotch and brown rust.
- Intervention action: The product can halt infection development even when symptoms are already visible on leaves.
- Flexibility: Registration covering all key cereal species (wheat, barley, triticale, rye).
Pre-harvest interval:
Wheat (winter and spring), barley (winter and spring), triticale (winter and spring), rye – 35 days.
PROTENDO EXTRA SCOPE OF USE AND DOSES:
Winter and spring wheat, winter and spring triticale, winter and spring barley, rye
| Controlled pests: | Powdery mildew of cereals and grasses, brown rust (barley leaf rust for barley), septoria leaf blotch, glume blotch, brown leaf spot, fusarium of ears, black grain, cereal rhynchosporium, net blotch of leaves. |
| Maximum / recommended dose: | 1.0 l/ha (Recommended: 0.75-1.0 l/ha) |
| Application timing: | Preventively or interventively from the beginning of stem elongation to the end of heading stage (BBCH 30-59). |
| Water volume / droplet size: | 200-400 l/ha | Fine droplet spraying. |
| Number of treatments: | 1 per growing season. |
Note: The higher recommended dose should be used under high pathogen pressure. In the case of protecting winter wheat against fusarium of ears and glume blotch, the treatment timing can be extended to the watery ripe grain stage, strictly maintaining the 35-day pre-harvest interval.
