Description

ACTION AND PROPERTIES OF SPRUZIT CONCENTRATE FOR PESTS EC:

Spruzit Concentrate for Pests EC is an advanced plant protection solution distinguished by a two-phase mode of action. Thanks to the content of pyrethrins – natural plant extracts – the insecticide exhibits a strong "knock-down" effect, instantly paralyzing the nervous system of pests immediately upon contact with the spray liquid. This process stops feeding almost immediately, protecting the yield from further damage. Meanwhile, oilseed rape oil forms a physical coating on the insect exoskeletons and bodies, blocking spiracles and causing suffocation. This mechanical mode of action eliminates pests at every developmental stage, including eggs, larvae and adults, preventing the development of resistance.

This product is an ideal choice for growers committed to organic farming and seeking preparations with minimal environmental impact. It ensures high efficacy in the control of aphids, spider mites, thrips and Colorado potato beetle, both in field and protected crops. An additional advantage is its versatility in small-scale applications and in the care of ornamental plants. Caution should be exercised at high temperatures – treatments are recommended early morning or evening (below 25°C) to maximise effectiveness and crop safety.

ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:

pyrethrins (substance from the natural pyrethrin group) - 4.59 g/l (0.54%)

oilseed rape oil (natural origin product) - 825.3 g/l (90.0%)

Advantages of using/choosing Spruzit Concentrate for Pests EC:

  • Double power of action: Unique synergy of paralyzing pyrethrins and mechanically suffocating oilseed rape oil combats insects at every stage (including eggs and larvae).
  • Instant effect: Chrysanthemum extracts cause immediate "knock-down", rapidly stopping insects from further feeding and destroying the yield.
  • Ecological profile: Product successfully used in organic farming, characterised by a very short pre-harvest interval for most crops.
  • No resistance phenomenon: Physical-contact mode of action minimises the risk of resistance development in pest populations.

Pre-harvest interval:

  • Most vegetables and fruits - 3 days (depending on crop specifics according to the label)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) - Spruzit Concentrate for Pests EC:

Is Spruzit Concentrate for Pests EC safe for organic crops?

Yes, the preparation is based on natural ingredients (pyrethrins from chrysanthemums and oilseed rape oil). It has been approved for use in organic farming, features a very short pre-harvest interval (often only 3 days) and decomposes quickly in the environment.

When is the best time to apply Spruzit Concentrate to achieve maximum effectiveness?

Since the product acts by contact, the spray should be applied very thoroughly, covering the entire plant. It is recommended to avoid strong sunlight and high temperatures (above 25°C) – the best control results (e.g. aphids and spider mites) are achieved by applying early in the morning or in the evening hours.
