  • Effective in protecting cereals against fungal diseases,
  • Convenient for seed treatment,
  • Ensures healthy plants,
  • Provides higher yield,
  • Also provides protection against leaf diseases, while traditional seed treatments only protect against seed-borne and soil-borne infections,
  • Acts from emergence,
  • Longer retention of green colour guarantees maximum utilisation of yield potential,
  • Increased plant vigour, thus ensuring excellent condition,
  • Protects against pathogens and adverse effects of difficult weather conditions,
  • Plants develop better root systems and germinate better.

Systiva 333 FS is a plant protection product manufactured by BASF from the group of seed treatment products. It is a fungicide. It is available as a liquid suspension concentrate (FS).

It exhibits systemic action.

The product is intended for seed treatment to protect against diseases caused by fungi, as well as to combat cereal diseases transmitted with seed material and occurring mainly on leaves at emergence and later in the growing season.

Systiva also provides protection against leaf diseases, while traditional seed treatments only combat seed-borne and soil-borne infections and do not provide effective protection against leaf diseases.

The active substance contained in this fungicide is released gradually, which significantly extends the duration of the product's action.

Plants remain green much longer after treatment. This allows them to maximise their yield potential.

The product is used in seed treaters adapted for liquid and suspension treatments.

Additionally, treated plants have better vigour and a much more developed root system - confirmed by tests conducted by BASF.

What is the content of active substances in the fungicide Systiva?

  • Fluxapyroxad (a compound from the carboxamide group) - 333 g/l (28.76%).

In which crops can the plant protection product for seed treatment Systiva be used?

  • winter wheat,
  • winter barley,
  • winter rye,
  • spring barley.

What are the unique benefits of using Systiva 333 FS in winter wheat cultivation?

  • Yield increased on average by up to half a tonne per hectare!
  • No need for cleaning treatments in autumn and spring (T0)
  • Increased plant vigour
  • Significantly greater tillering (possibility to reduce sowing rate by 15%)

What are the advantages of using Systiva 333 FS in winter barley cultivation?

  • No need for cleaning treatments in autumn and spring (T0)
  • No need for T1 treatment in spring (fully replaces the first fungicide treatment in spring)
  • Guarantee of better overwintering
  • Much more developed root system

What are the benefits of using Systiva 333 FS in winter rye cultivation?

  • T1 treatment in early spring is replaced
  • Protects plants from the moment of sowing
  • Increased plant vigour
  • Larger plant roots
  • Significantly higher drought resistance
  • Protects against the most important diseases

What do I gain by using Systiva 333 FS in spring barley cultivation?

  • No need for T1 treatment
  • Long-lasting effectiveness in controlling leaf diseases up to BBCH 39 stage
  • Healthier and stronger plants
  • Higher yields

How to use the seed treatment product and fungicide Systiva?

Detailed information on dosing and use of the plant protection product Systiva can be found in the "Dosage" section and in the plant protection product label attached in the downloadable files.

Which diseases does the fungicide Systiva control?

  • septoria leaf blotch, snow mould,
  • barley leaf stripe,
  • powdery mildew of cereals and grasses,
  • barley net blotch.

What is the pre-harvest interval when using Systiva seed treatment?

The pre-harvest interval, i.e. the period from the last application of the product to the day of crop harvest, does not apply to Systiva.

What are the recommendations when using spray liquid made with Systiva 333 FS?

  • Treat only well-cleaned seed material.
  • Perform seed treatment preferably immediately before sowing.
  • The treated seed should be thoroughly and evenly coated with the product.
  • The treated seed may only be used for sowing. It must not be used for consumption or as feed.
  • Do not treat seed with moisture content above 16% or previously treated with another plant protection product.
  • Store treated seed in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse.
  • The maximum sowing rate using seed treated with Systiva 333 FS is 180 kg/ha.
  • Sowing seed treated with Systiva 333 FS does not exempt from fungicide treatments during the growing season, which should be conducted according to the labels of individual fungicides, based on current protection programmes and integrated pest management principles.
  • The product contains fluxapyroxad as the active substance, a carboxamide compound from the group of succinate dehydrogenase inhibitors (SDHI) – inhibitors of cellular respiration (according to FRAC Group 7). Each pathogen population may contain forms resistant to some active substances, including fungicides from FRAC group 7. Gradual or complete loss of efficacy may occur with repeated use of fungicides with the same mode of action on the same field. As part of resistance management strategy, it is recommended to:
− use the product only according to label recommendations, including recommended doses,
− on fields sown with seed treated with this product, choose fungicides for foliar treatments (especially the first treatment) containing active substances from different chemical groups with different modes of action (rotational use),
− when using products containing active substances from FRAC group 7, adhere to the recommended total number of fungicide treatments from this group per growing season, considering the use of Systiva 333 FS on seed (as the first treatment of the season).
