Description
Tazer Pro 300 SC – professional fungicidal protection for cereals, oilseed rape and specialist crops
Tazer Pro 300 SC is a modern fungicide in the form of a suspension concentrate (SC), designed for comprehensive protection of agricultural crops against fungal diseases. The product is intended for professional users, especially farmers engaged in intensive crop production.
The preparation contains two active substances: prothioconazole and azoxystrobin, which represent different chemical groups (FRAC 3 and FRAC 11), providing a broad spectrum of activity and reducing the risk of pathogen resistance.
Mode of action
Prothioconazole belongs to the group of sterol biosynthesis inhibitors (DMI), which disrupt the construction of fungal cell membranes. Azoxystrobin acts by blocking the cellular respiration of pathogens, leading to their rapid death.
The combination of these mechanisms ensures preventive, curative and eradicative action, as well as prolonging the protection period of plants. The product acts systemically, also protecting new growth.
Use in field crops
Tazer Pro 300 SC is intended for the protection of cereals and oilseed rape against the most important leaf, stem and stalk diseases.
- winter wheat, winter and spring barley, triticale, rye
- winter and spring oilseed rape
The product effectively controls, among others:
- powdery mildew
- septoria leaf blotch
- wheat rust
- leaf spots
- dry rot of crucifers
- sclerotinia stem rot
Use in specialist crops
Tazer Pro 300 SC can also be used in many specialist crops, where it provides effective fungicidal protection:
- durum wheat, spelt, emmer, einkorn
- sunflower
- mustard, fibre flax
- poppy
- flax
In these crops, the product controls a wide range of diseases, including grey mould, sclerotinia stem rot, alternaria leaf spot, rust and leaf and stem diseases.
Application recommendations
Apply the product preventively or after the first symptoms of diseases appear, in key growth stages of plants: from the beginning of stem elongation to the end of flowering in cereals and in autumn and spring in oilseed rape cultivation.
The highest effectiveness is achieved with even coverage of plants and application at temperatures above 12°C.
Benefits of using Tazer Pro 300 SC
- broad spectrum of controlled diseases in many crops
- combination of two modes of action (FRAC 3 + 11)
- preventive, curative and eradicative effects
- effectiveness in protecting intensive and specialist crops
- support for anti-resistance strategy
Notes
The product should be used in accordance with the plant protection product label and integrated plant protection principles. To reduce the risk of resistance development, rotation of active substances with different modes of action is recommended.
