Description
HOW VYNYTY TUTA PRESS WORKS:
A plant protection product in the form of a vapour-producing product (VP), containing active substances (pheromones) released continuously. The product is designed to attract and disorient male tomato leafminer moths, thereby hindering mating, which consequently leads to pest population reduction.
The Press technology is based on the use of an innovative microcapsule with gradual release. The preparation consists of 100% biodegradable polymers of natural origin (oil and wax) and contains no microplastics. The product is in gel form in aluminium tubes.
VYNYTY TUTA PRESS ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:
Straight-chain moth pheromones (acetate of (E,Z,Z)-3,8,11-tetradecatrien-1-yl + acetate of (E,Z)-3,8-tetradecatrien-1-yl) – 31 g/kg (3.10%)
VYNYTY TUTA PRESS SCOPE OF USE, TIMING AND DOSES:
Ready-to-use product intended for spot application. The product is placed on a neutral growing medium (e.g. stakes, chains or wires) in the greenhouse, using a compressed air applicator device, ensuring no direct contact of the product with the plants.
How to use Vynyty Tuta Press:
To apply VYNYTY Tuta Press, place the aluminium pheromone sachet inside a transparent airtight plastic cylinder. Then, using a compressor or pump, fill the plastic cylinder with air to a pressure of 6 bars.
To start dispensing the preparation, firmly tighten the cylinder cap, screw in the applicator tube and press the trigger. The gel drop size should be equal to the size of a 5p or £2 coin, corresponding to a mass of 1.3 to 1.7 g. A higher dose should be used in case of greater pest pressure.
- the product should be used in greenhouses at a dose of 4-6 sachets/ha,
- number of application points 750-800 per ha,
- recommended even spacing between drops - one drop per 12-15 m²,
- for optimal greenhouse protection, increase the number of application points at row ends as well as near windows or vents,
- correct drop placement height is 80-120 cm above the growing medium,
Tomato, eggplant, sweet pepper (in greenhouse and covered cultivation)
Tomato leafminer
