- Do not enter until the spray liquid on the plant surface is completely dry.
How to prepare the spray liquid from the XenTari insecticide?
Prepare the spray liquid immediately before use. Before preparing the spray liquid, accurately determine the required volume and amount of product. Mix the weighed amount of product in a separate container with a small amount of water, then pour through a sieve into the sprayer tank partially filled with water (with the agitator on). The product solution should have a pH of 6-8. When preparing a mixture with an alkaline product, use a buffer. Do not mix with products that could affect bacterial viability. Rinse empty packaging three times with water, pour rinsate into the sprayer tank with the spray liquid, top up with water to the required volume and mix thoroughly. After adding the product to a sprayer tank without a hydraulic agitator, mechanically mix the spray liquid. In case of interruptions during spraying, mix the spray liquid thoroughly before resuming work.
What are the recommendations for controlling insects with the XenTari spray liquid (insecticide)?
- The recommended concentration of the spray liquid is 0.1%.
- Young caterpillars are much more sensitive to the product than older ones.
- Use higher recommended doses when pest pressure is high or caterpillars are in older developmental stages.
- Perform 1-3 treatments per caterpillar generation.
- Due to the stomach action of the product on insects, thorough coverage of plants with the spray liquid is necessary.
- Apply treatment on dry plants.
- Do not apply if rain is expected or within 6 hours after rainfall.
- As part of resistance management strategy, alternate use of insecticides with different modes of action is recommended.
