- In a convenient and efficient form of concentrated suspension for dilution with water.
Yukon UPL is a fungicide in the form of a concentrated suspension for dilution with water (SC) with surface action for preventive use in plant protection against diseases caused by fungi and fungus-like organisms.
The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field or orchard sprayers or handheld sprayers.
Fungicide Yukon UPL - active substance content:
- Copper (as tribasic copper sulphate) - 80 g/l (5.5%),
- Sulphur - 640 g/l (43.8%).
According to FRAC classification, the active substance copper belongs to group M01, and sulphur to group M02.
Yukon UPL - controlled fungal diseases:
- Beet rust,
- Septoria leaf blotch of wheat,
- Powdery mildew of grapevine,
- Downy mildew of grapevine.
In small-scale cultivation also:
- Powdery mildew of beet.
Fungicide Yukon UPL - use in crops:
Orchard crops:
- Grapevine.
Vegetable crops:
- Sugar beet.
Agricultural crops:
- Winter wheat.
In small-scale use:
- Fodder beet,
- Garden beet.
Fungicide Yukon UPL - pre-harvest interval, withholding period, crop rotation:
Pre-harvest interval - period from last application of the product to the day of crop harvest:
- winter wheat: 45 days,
- sugar beet, fodder beet, garden beet: 14 days,
- grapevine: 7 days.
Withholding period - period from application of the product to the day when people and animals may enter the treated area:
- Do not enter until the spray liquid on the plant surface is completely dry
Fungicide Yukon UPL - preparation of spray liquid:
For field/orchard sprayers:
Prepare the spray liquid immediately before use. Before preparing the spray liquid, accurately determine the required volume along with the amount of product. When filling the sprayer, follow the sprayer manufacturer's instructions. If no instructions are available, add the measured amount of product to the sprayer tank partially filled with water (with the agitator on). Rinse empty containers three times with water and pour the rinsate into the sprayer tank with the spray liquid, top up with water to the required volume and mix thoroughly. After adding the product to a sprayer tank without a hydraulic agitator, mix the liquid mechanically. In case of interruptions during spraying, mix the spray liquid thoroughly before resuming work.
For handheld/backpack sprayers:
Prepare the spray liquid immediately before use. Before preparing the spray liquid, accurately determine the required volume along with the amount of product. When filling the sprayer, follow the sprayer manufacturer's instructions. If no instructions are available, add the measured amount of product to the sprayer tank partially filled with water. Rinse empty containers three times with water and pour the rinsate into the sprayer tank with the spray liquid, top up with water to the required volume and mix thoroughly. After adding the product to the sprayer tank, mix the liquid mechanically. In case of interruptions during spraying, mix the spray liquid thoroughly before resuming work.
Plant protection product Yukon UPL - usage guidelines:
- In grapevine cultivation, the recommended dose refers to the actual sprayed object, i.e. the side surface of the row of bushes, defined as the "leaf wall area":
Leaf wall area [m2/ha] = (2 x bush height [m] / row spacing [m]) x 10,000 [m2/ha] - Calculation of the amount of product needed per 1 ha of crop (kg/ha) to prepare the spray liquid:
Amount of product [l/ha] = (recommended dose per leaf wall area [l/10,000 m2] x leaf wall area [m2/ha]) / 10,000 [m2/ha] - Do not exceed the maximum recommended dose of product = 6.0 l/ha, even if the current leaf wall area (LWA) indicates a need for a higher dose.
- The total dose of active substance copper must not exceed 4 kg/ha per growing season at a given site, considering all applied products containing this active substance (regardless of its form).
- The total dose of active substance copper must not exceed 4 kg/ha per growing season at a given site, considering all applied products containing this active substance (regardless of its form).
- When determining the droplet size of the spray liquid, consider the restrictions mentioned in the paragraphs related to environmental protection.
- During application, prevent spray drift onto neighbouring crops.
- Do not allow overlapping of spray liquid on the edges of treatment strips and headlands.
- The lack of negative impact of the product use in grapevine cultivation on wine production and quality has not been sufficiently confirmed.
- The product contains two active substances: copper (FRAC group M01) and sulphur (FRAC group M02), affecting different metabolic processes at the cellular level of pathogens (multi-site activity). As part of resistance management strategies, the product should be used mainly preventively, according to label recommendations (dose, timing, number of treatments, etc.), only as part of an accepted protection programme that includes other fungicides with active substances having different modes of action (sequential or alternating use).
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store the plant protection product:
− in original packaging,
− in a way preventing contact with food, beverages or feed, environmental contamination and access by third parties,
− at a temperature of 4°C - 30°C.
