About the For Alternaria of brassicas category
The crops named in the product descriptions include winter and spring oilseed rape, brassica vegetables (head cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli) as well as wheat, barley, triticale and rye. Some of the products for cereals are also intended for protection against sooty moulds of the ears. Many products are additionally intended for protection against other diseases, including sclerotinia stem rot, phoma stem canker, grey mould and powdery mildew. The registered crops, diseases and doses of each product are given on its label.
The most common active substances are azoxystrobin, prothioconazole, tebuconazole and difenoconazole; there are also products with metconazole and with the combination of boscalid and pyraclostrobin. Some of the products for oilseed rape are both fungicides and growth regulators, for example with mepiquat chloride and metconazole. The category includes products from Syngenta, BASF, Bayer and Nufarm, among other brands, for example Signum 33 WG and Tilmor 240 EC.
