Description

Alakazam – insecticidal agent for controlling aphids and whiteflies

Alakazam is an insecticidal agent in granule form. It is intended for preparing a water suspension (WG). It exhibits systemic action. It is used to control aphids and whiteflies.

The agent is intended for use by professional users with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field or orchard sprayers as well as handheld sprayers (including backpack sprayers).

Advantages of using the insecticide Alakazam 500 WG:

Benefits resulting from the composition, formulation and action of the product:

  • Flonicamid acts exactly where aphids most often feed - in newly growing tissues (leaves, shoots),
  • It acts for a long time (up to 28 days!):
    - guarantees effective protection during rapid growth (e.g. during flowering),
    - ideal for early spring and spring protection,
    - can also be used in later growth stages,
    - economical: one treatment guarantees long protection,
  • One treatment controls the entire pest population at every development stage (larvae/adults),
  • Possibility to perform treatment under varied weather conditions - effective over a wide temperature range,
  • Safe for beneficial fauna, which provides an additional effect of pest parasitism by natural enemies,
  • No need to repeat the treatment if rain occurs within 3 hours after application – product is rainfast,
  • Good compatibility of WG formulation - ideal for tank mixes,
  • The cheapest of the offered products containing flonicamid with similar action means a cheaper treatment controlling pests with the same spectrum of activity.

Alakazam 500 WG - composition:

  • flonicamid (a compound from the carboxamide group) - 500 g/kg (50%).

Flonicamid is an active substance from the group of chordotonal organ modulators (according to IRAC group 29), which causes inhibition of lipid synthesis in pests.

How to prepare spray liquid from the insecticide for aphids and whiteflies Alakazam?

Prepare the spray liquid immediately before use. Before preparing the spray liquid, accurately determine the required volume and amount of product. When filling the sprayer, follow the sprayer manufacturer's instructions. If no instructions are available, add the measured amount of product to the sprayer tank partially filled with water (with the agitator on). Rinse empty packaging three times with water and pour the rinsate into the sprayer tank with the spray liquid, top up with water to the required volume and mix thoroughly. After adding the product to a sprayer tank without a hydraulic agitator, mix the liquid mechanically. In case of interruptions during spraying, mix the spray liquid thoroughly before resuming work.
