Description
Battle Delta 600 SC (flufenacet, diflufenican) FMC - herbicide
Benefits of using Battle Delta 600 SC herbicide, FMC:
- Provides long-lasting protection of crops against difficult-to-control monocotyledonous weeds,
- For use in autumn (control e.g. blackgrass),
- Protects against a wide range of dicotyledonous weeds,
- Dedicated action - for use in winter cereals crops,
- Plays an important role in managing resistance of difficult-to-control weeds,
- Safe for winter cereals.
Battle Delta 600 SC is a herbicide in the form of a concentrate as a concentrated suspension for dilution with water (SC). It is applied to the soil or foliage for autumn control of blackgrass and dicotyledonous weeds in winter cereals after crop emergence.
Battle Delta is intended for use by professional users with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.
Battle Delta 600 SC FMC herbicide - active substance content:
- flufenacet (compound from the oxyacetamide group) - 400 g/l (32.3%),
- diflufenican (compound from the phenoxynicotinanilide group) - 200 g/l (16.1%).
Battle Delta 600 SC FMC - mode of action:
Battle Delta 600 SC contains two active substances:
- flufenacet - a compound from the oxyacetamide group, inhibits cell division and growth of sensitive weed plants, including inhibition of germination or disruption of this process. It is mainly absorbed by the roots and hypocotyl of germinating weeds.
- diflufenican - a compound from the phenoxynicotinanilide group, inhibits carotenoid biosynthesis in weed plant cells. Carotenoids are pigments essential for photosynthesis in plants. The action of this substance causes bleaching of plants followed by their death. Diflufenican provides protection for up to 8 weeks after application. This active substance is mainly absorbed through the leaves and stems of germinating weeds.
The best herbicidal effect is achieved by applying the product to actively growing weeds in early developmental stages, during germination or shortly after emergence, at the seedling stage.
The product should be applied at optimal soil moisture, on well-cultivated soil (free of clods).
Which weeds does Battle Delta herbicide control?
Sensitive weeds:
- common chickweed,
- field pansy,
- red dead-nettle,
- corn poppy,
- scentless mayweed,
- blackgrass,
- field forget-me-not,
- cleavers,
- ground ivy,
- volunteer oilseed rape,
- shepherd's purse.
Moderately sensitive weeds:
- cornflower.
Moderately resistant weeds:
- blackgrass.
Battle Delta 600 SC FMC herbicide can be used in crops of:
- winter wheat,
- winter barley,
- winter triticale,
- winter rye.
Battle Delta 600 SC herbicide - crop rotation:
Battle Delta does not pose a threat to succeeding crops in a normal crop rotation cycle. Before sowing succeeding crops, ploughing to a depth of at least 20 cm is recommended, which is especially important for barley, oilseed rape and mustard crops. If early destruction of the crop is necessary in spring after ploughing to a depth of at least 20 cm, it is recommended to grow spring wheat, spring barley, maize and potato. Successive use of products containing diflufenican may lead to accumulation of this substance in the soil, therefore the soil must be inverted with a plough before sowing or planting non-cereal crops.
Battle Delta 600 SC FMC herbicide - re-entry interval and pre-harvest interval:
Re-entry interval - the period from application until people and animals can enter the treated area:
- Do not enter until the spray liquid has completely dried on the plant surfaces.
Pre-harvest interval - the period from the last application to the day of crop harvest:
- Not applicable.
Period from last application to the day when succeeding crops can be sown or planted:
- Crop rotation must be taken into account.
