Royal Vantage F1 is a mid-late cabbage variety with a growing period of 80–85 days, mainly intended for the fresh market and wholesale sales. The heads weigh 2.5–3.5 kg, are round and attractive, and the variety can remain in the field for a long time without the risk of cracking or rotting. Harvest takes place in summer and autumn, and the plant tolerates lower temperatures and poorer soil conditions well.
Royal Vantage F1 shows resistance to Fusarium fungi, which can cause yellowing of the lower leaves and damage to the vascular bundles. The disease develops mainly on warm, dry days, appearing at the end of the growing period or during prolonged storage of the heads.
