Description

Florovit granulated lime fertiliser

  • Effectively liming the soil - brings the growing medium to an optimal pH for plants.
  • Improves nutrient availability - positively affects the physical properties of the soil.
  • Supplies essential calcium for plants.
  • Ensures high quality of fruits, vegetables and flowers.
  • Thanks to its granulated form, it provides even application and easy mixing with the soil.

Florovit granulated lime fertiliser - a product intended for liming all types of soils. The fertiliser quickly improves soil pH. This allows plants to better absorb nutrients and limits the uptake of heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, chromium, etc. Humus present in the soil in the presence of calcium improves soil structure, which contributes to maintaining favourable air-water relations for plants.

In Poland, about 70% of arable land is classified as very acidic or acidic soils. Soil acidification (lowering of soil pH) is a natural process caused, among other things, by leaching of lime deeper into the soil profile. Too acidic growing medium limits effective nutrient uptake by most plants, therefore regular use of Florovit lime fertiliser is recommended.

Florovit granulated lime fertiliser - parameters and composition:

Parameters:

  • EU fertiliser,
  • Liming agent,
  • Fertiliser type: standard limestone,
  • Neutralisation number: min. 50,

Composition:

  • 50% CaO - total calcium oxide.

Florovit granulated lime fertiliser - usage instructions:

  • Fresh liming is poorly tolerated by vegetables such as: peas, beans, carrot, parsley, celery, parsnip, tomato, cucumber, pumpkin. Liming soil for the cultivation of the above plants should be done no later than autumn of the year preceding cultivation.
  • Do not apply lime under acid-loving plants such as: blueberries, rhododendrons, heathers, etc.
  • Do not apply manure and lime fertiliser in the same year.
  • Liming should be performed at least 3-4 weeks before planned sowing or planting and before applying other soil fertilisers for gardening.
  • Calcium fertilisers are recommended to be applied in autumn or very early spring.
  • Granulated lime should be spread evenly over the entire fertilised area and, if possible, mixed with the topsoil layer of 10-20 cm thickness.
  • Fertiliser doses should be determined depending on the pH and type of soil.
