Description
ACTION OF KOCIDE PROGRESS:
Kocide Progress is a high-quality copper fungicide in a modern water-dispersible granule (WG) form, designed for effective, preventive protection of plants against serious fungal and bacterial diseases. The key to its exceptional effectiveness is the use of copper hydroxide, which forms specific needle-shaped crystals on the plant surface. This physical structure ensures that the product adheres much better to tissues and shows above-average resistance to wash-off by rainfall compared to traditional copper formulations. Moreover, the absence of chloride ions in the composition significantly reduces the risk of phytotoxicity, making it safer for the crop while maintaining full contact protection efficacy.
Advantages of using Kocide Progress:
- Exceptional adhesion: The needle-like crystal structure guarantees excellent retention on leaves and fruits.
- Increased wash-off resistance: Provides a long-lasting protective barrier even in challenging weather conditions.
- Plant safety: The absence of chloride minimises the risk of tissue damage (phytotoxicity).
- Preventive efficacy: Creates a tight protective layer that prevents fungal spore germination.
- Modern WG formula: The granules dissolve easily in water, producing no dust and not clogging sprayer nozzles.
KOCIDE PROGRESS ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:
copper (as copper (II) hydroxide) - 350 g/kg (35%).
KOCIDE PROGRESS SCOPE OF USE, TIMING AND DOSES:
The product should be applied preventively or immediately after the first symptoms of disease appear. It is crucial to thoroughly cover all parts of the plants with the spray liquid.
Apple tree
Disease: apple scab
Recommended dose: 1.7 - 2.1 kg/ha.
Apply during periods of highest infection risk, ensuring precise application.
Grapevine
Disease: grapevine downy mildew
Recommended dose: 0.5 - 2.0 kg/ha.
Dose should be adjusted according to the grapevine growth stage and pathogen pressure in the given season.
Potato
Disease: potato late blight
Recommended dose: 2.0 kg/ha.
Treatments should be performed prophylactically, protecting the plantation against rapid disease development, especially under high humidity conditions.
General recommendations:
- Use sufficient water to achieve complete leaf wetting.
- It is recommended to alternate with fungicides from other chemical groups with different modes of action.
KOCIDE PROGRESS PRE-HARVEST INTERVAL:
Apple tree – not applicable.
Potato – 14 days.
Grapevine – 21 days.
