LARVANEM

Beneficial nematodes are a natural and very effective method for combating white grubs. They control white grub larvae by entering them through natural openings. After about two weeks, the larvae turn brown and die. The nematodes themselves are not harmful to humans, plants, or animals, and their presence improves plant vitality and growth.

Application:
For the control of weevil larvae, e.g. strawberry root weevil Otiorhynchus sulcatus.

Usage notes:

• White grubs - the preparation should be applied twice: in spring (late April-May) and a second treatment with newly purchased preparation (late August-September) to control all larval stages. (For control of white grubs we use the optimal timing in summer from mid-July to mid-August - only young larvae of the current year are controlled. Nematodes do not destroy older white grub larvae!) - apply only after your own observations
• Remember that soil temperature is important, with a daily average amplitude of at least 14˚C.
• Larvanem is introduced into the soil by watering (water the growing medium well before application)
• Avoid application in full sun
• Apply the product to moist soil and maintain moisture for at least 2 weeks. It is important that nematodes enter the soil as quickly as possible, as they can only move in a moist growing medium. Those not properly washed in die in the sun or dry out
• Constantly stir the solution to prevent nematodes from settling at the bottom of the sprayer tank
• Before purchase, everyone should make their own observations of pest larvae occurrence (the life cycle may vary in different regions of the country). Larvanem destroys only larvae, not adult insects - control white grub larvae before pupation
• Storage is not recommended. Order the product for immediate use!
• The large 500ml package is sufficient for about 1000m² (the product is also sold in a smaller 50ml package for about 100m²)
