Description
MODE OF ACTION OF LUMAX NEXT:
The product contains two active substances with different modes of action, ensuring high effectiveness. Mesotrione is an inhibitor of the biosynthesis of photoactive pigments, mainly absorbed through leaves and roots, leading to bleaching and death of weeds (first symptoms after 5-7 days, death after approx. 14 days). Terbuthylazine is a photosynthesis inhibitor mainly absorbed through roots. It causes leaf chlorosis and weed death often already during their emergence. The use of terbuthylazine limits weed emergence for 6-8 weeks after application. Moderate rainfall and warm weather favour the product's action.
Advantages of using LUMAX NEXT:
- Comprehensive mode of action: Combines foliar control with long-lasting soil activity.
- Extended protection: Effectively blocks the emergence of new weeds for up to 6 to 8 weeks after application.
- Wide spectrum of control: Eliminates a broad range of dicotyledonous weeds and some monocotyledonous weeds (e.g. couch grass).
- Rapid visual effects: Visible bleaching and growth inhibition of weeds already 5-7 days after treatment.
ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT IN LUMAX NEXT:
mesotrione (compound from the triketone group) – 70 g/l (6.26%)
terbuthylazine (compound from the triazine group) – 330 g/l (29.52%)
