Merces 50 EW
MERCES 50 EW is a professional fungicide designed to combat powdery mildew across a wide range of crops, from cereals to orchards and grapevines.
Description
ACTION OF MERCES 50 EW:
Merces 50 EW is an advanced fungicide with systemic action, created for uncompromising control of powdery mildew. After application, the product penetrates deeply into plant tissues, circulating with the plant's sap and providing an effective protective barrier even in areas not directly sprayed. Thanks to this mechanism, the product is excellent both in preventive action, preventing infection, and curative action, quickly inhibiting fungal development after the first symptoms appear.
The EW formulation (oil-in-water emulsion) ensures that the active substance – cyflufenamid – is rapidly absorbed by the plant and shows high resistance to wash-off by rain. A unique feature of the product is its broad spectrum of activity: in cereal crops, Merces 50 EW not only eliminates powdery mildew but also exhibits valuable properties limiting the occurrence of other serious pathogens such as rusts, septoria leaf blotch, and fusarium head blight, making it a key component of modern protection programmes.
ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:
cyflufenamid (a compound from the phenylacetamide group) - 50 g/l (5.32%)
Advantages of using MERCES 50 EW:
- Effective systemic barrier: The product circulates inside the plant, protecting new growth and hard-to-reach areas.
- Dual protection: Acts preventively before infection occurs and curatively immediately after symptoms appear.
- Additional disease suppression: In cereals, it supports control of rusts, septoria leaf blotch, and leaf spot diseases, improving the overall condition of the crop stand.
- Modern EW formulation: Provides excellent leaf adhesion and rapid absorption of the active substance.
Pre-harvest interval:
- Cereals (wheat, barley, triticale) - 48 days
- Apple tree, pear tree - 14 days
- Grapevine - 21 days
- Ornamental plants - Not applicable
