MODE OF ACTION OF Nimrod 250 EC:
Nimrod 250 EC is a highly effective product with a strong systemic action. This means that the active substance rapidly penetrates deeply into plant tissues, circulating with its systemic sap. Thanks to this mechanism, it protects not only the sites of direct spray application but also newly developing shoots, leaves and flowers, ensuring reliable protection even under difficult weather conditions. The product exhibits a dual knockdown mode: preventive, building a protective shield on the plant against approaching infection, and curative (intervention), which ruthlessly stops and destroys the pathogen after the first visible symptoms of disease appear.
The product is an absolute specialist in eliminating powdery mildew and American gooseberry mildew. It destroys the characteristic powdery mycelium developing on the surface of leaves and shoots, restoring the plants' full assimilation capacity and protecting the yield from damage and deformities. It performs excellently both in field cultivation and in the demanding environment of greenhouses or polytunnels.
CONTENT OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCE:
bupirimate (compound from the pyrimidine group) - 250 g/l (26.9%)
Advantages of using Nimrod 250 EC:
- Effective systemic action: Penetrates deep into the plant and moves within its tissues, providing excellent protection for new growth and hard-to-reach areas.
- Preventive and curative action: Protects crops against pathogen attacks and rapidly treats plants already showing the dangerous white fungal coating.
- Wide crop spectrum: One universal product solves powdery mildew problems in orchards, vegetable gardens, herbs and ornamental plant crops.
Pre-harvest interval:
- Apple tree, strawberry, black currant, gooseberry, pear tree, quince - 14 days
- Parsley, tomato, cucumber, pumpkin, eggplant (under cover), herbs and spices - 3 days
- Rose, ornamental plants, forest tree nurseries - Not applicable
