Description

Nisha 040 SC – effective maize weed protection

Nisha 040 SC is a systemic selective herbicide, applied foliarly to control Echinochloa crus-galli and selected dicotyledonous weeds in maize cultivation. It contains nikosulfuron (40 g/l), an active substance from the sulfonylurea group, which acts as an acetolactate synthase (ALS) inhibitor, suppressing weed growth and causing their death.

The product is absorbed through the leaves and rapidly translocated within the plant, effectively eliminating competing weeds. Initial effects are visible shortly after application, with complete plant death occurring after 20-25 days. Warm and humid weather accelerates the product's action. The product is available as a suspension concentrate (SC) for dilution with water and application using field sprayers.

Benefits of using Nisha 040 SC

  • Effective control of mono- and dicotyledonous weeds,
  • Systemic action – rapid absorption and translocation within the plant,
  • Long-lasting efficacy,
  • Easy application thanks to convenient SC formulation,
  • Safety for subsequent crops – all crops can be grown after maize harvest.
