Description
How to use Prestop WP?
Action of Prestop WP:
Prestop WP is a biological fungicide for watering, which is intended to counteract root diseases caused by fungi from the genera: Pythium, Phytophthora, Rhizoctonia and Fusarium and for spraying plants against diseases of the above-ground parts caused by fungi from the genera Botrytis and Didymella.
Prestop, through rapid colonisation of the root system and above-ground parts of the plant, deprives pathogenic fungi of space for development and growth, as well as limits their access to nutrients. The product also exhibits saprophytic activity by decomposing dead matter, which simultaneously acts as a natural barrier to parasitic fungi.
The duration of the product's action and protection is 3-4 weeks for the above-ground parts of the plant and 5-6 weeks when applied in the rhizosphere zone on various growing media (substrate, peat, mineral wool, coconut fibre).
Methods of product application:
- foliar application,
- fertigation,
- foggers (cold fog),
- watering and sprinkler systems,
- mixing with the growing medium.
The product is also recommended and registered for the protection of organic crops. The preparation is safe and neutral for beneficial insects (e.g. bumblebees), and can be used simultaneously with biological control against pests. No pre-harvest interval and no residues.
