Description

SEDIM 120 MODE OF ACTION :

Sedim 120 is a selective herbicide in a convenient concentrate form (EC) for foliar application, effectively controlling monocotyledonous weeds. The product acts systemically, meaning that after absorption through the leaves, the active substance quickly moves to the roots and rhizomes of weeds, causing growth inhibition and death.

The first symptoms of action, such as yellowing and drying of leaves, are visible about 7 days after spraying. The product's effectiveness is higher during intense weed growth, warm weather, and moist soil.

Foliar application after weed emergence provides the best results in controlling annual species at the 2-leaf to early tillering stage and perennials (e.g. couch grass) at the 4-6 leaf stage. Rainfall within one hour after treatment does not reduce its effectiveness.

Advantages of Sedim 120:

- Effective control of monocotyledonous weeds.

- Systemic action reaching the roots.

- Rapidly visible effects.

- Rainfast one hour after application.

- Effective at optimal developmental stages of annual and perennial weeds.

SEDIM 120 ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:

clethodim (compound from the cyclohexanedione group) - 120 g/l (13.0%)

SEDIM 120 SCOPE OF USE, TIMING AND DOSES:

The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.

Apply the product considering both the appropriate developmental stage of the target weed and the crop plant.

Sedim 120 - effect on weeds:

Sensitive weeds: slender foxtail, wild oats, couch grass, volunteer cereals

Resistant weeds: dicotyledonous plants

How to use Sedim 120:

Sugar beet

Application timing: apply the product from the development of the first pair of leaves on sugar beet plants until the plants cover no more than 50% of the inter-row space (BBCH 12-35).

a) Control of annual weeds such as foxtails, wild oats, volunteer cereals:

Maximum/recommended dose for single application: 0.8 l/ha. Apply when weeds are at the 2-5 true leaf stage.

b) Control of couch grass:

Maximum/recommended dose for single application: 2 l/ha.

Apply when weeds are at the 4-6 true leaf stage.

Recommended water volume: 200-300 l/ha.

Recommended spraying: medium droplet size.

Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.

Winter oilseed rape

Application timing: apply in autumn when oilseed rape plants have developed at least the first pair of leaves (BBCH 12) or in spring, no later than the beginning of stem elongation (BBCH 30).

Note: Use the product only for control of annual weeds and volunteer cereals.

Control of annual weeds such as foxtails, wild oats, volunteer cereals:

Maximum/recommended dose for single application: 0.8 l/ha. Apply when weeds are at the 2-5 true leaf stage.

Recommended water volume: 200-300 l/ha.

Recommended spraying: medium droplet size.

Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.

Potato

Application timing: apply after inter-row cultivation is completed (after potato emergence when plants reach 13-15 cm height), but before inter-row closure (BBCH 12-33), at the appropriate weed developmental stage.
