Description
ACTION AND PROPERTIES OF THE INSECTICIDE SEQUOIA:
Insecticide SEQUOIA is a highly effective solution based on an innovative compound from the sulfoximine group, ensuring the highest level of protection against piercing-sucking pests. The product features a multi-directional mode of action: contact and ingestion on agro-pests, as well as systemic and translaminar within the plant itself. This means that the active substance not only protects the surface of sprayed leaves but also penetrates deep into them and moves with the plant sap. Such a mode of action ensures the elimination of pests hiding in crevices, on the underside of leaves, or on new growth, facilitating the maintenance of high quality and commercial value of the yield.
ACTIVE SUBSTANCE CONTENT:
sulfoxaflor (compound from the sulfoximine group) - 120 g/l (11.4%)
Advantages of using/selecting SEQUOIA:
- Comprehensive distribution in tissues: Translaminar and systemic action protects even those parts of the plant that were not directly covered by the spray liquid during application.
- Rapid insecticidal effect: The product acts quickly by ingestion and contact, effectively stopping aphids and whiteflies shortly after treatment.
- Application flexibility: A wide application window and a short (1 day) pre-harvest interval for key vegetable crops make the product safely fit into the intensive greenhouse production schedule.
Pre-harvest interval:
- Tomato, sweet pepper, cucumber, melon - 1 day
- Ornamental plants - not applicable
SEQUOIA - SCOPE OF USE, TIMING AND DOSES:
Spectrum of controlled agro-pests:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) - SEQUOIA:
Which pests does the insecticide Sequoia control in greenhouse crops?
The product is intended for professional control of key piercing-sucking pests, namely various species of aphids, as well as greenhouse whitefly and silverleaf whitefly.
When is the best time to apply Sequoia against whiteflies?
The spraying treatment should be carried out immediately after the first colonies of whiteflies appear. In case of very high population pressure, a single spray with the higher dose of 0.4 l/ha is recommended to quickly and effectively reduce pest feeding.
