Description

Verimark 200 SC FMC Insecticide

  • Fast action - insect paralysis occurs within just a few hours.
  • Insects die 3-6 days after treatment.
  • Dedicated to the protection of cabbage crops and strawberry plantations.
  • Safe for beneficial insects.
  • Exhibits systemic action - protects plants through the root system.
  • Efficient - in concentrate form.

Verimark 200 SC is an insecticidal water-dilutable concentrate (SC). It has stomach action (the active substance is ingested with the food eaten by the insect and acts in its stomach) and contact action (through contact of the active substance with the insect's body - the substance penetrates the pest's body surface). It acts deeply and translaminarly on the plant, and when applied to the root zone also systemically. This means that the product acts both at the site of application on the plant and also penetrates the plant, circulates with the sap and transfers to new growth. This ensures maximum protection of plants against harmful insects.

The plant protection product Verimark is intended for the control of pests such as raspberry blossom beetle and cabbage root fly. It is used in the cultivation of cabbage crops and on strawberry plantations. Insect paralysis occurs within a few hours and manifests as inhibition of pest movement and feeding. Insects die 3-6 days after treatment.

The product is intended for use in drip irrigation systems for strawberry and vegetable crops or for watering seedlings of white cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts.

Verimark 200 SL active substance content:

  • cyantraniliprole (a compound from the anthranilic diamides group) – 200 g/l (18.66%).

The active substance cyantraniliprole belongs to IRAC group 28.

  • Tomato, eggplant – 1 day.
  • Sweet pepper – 1 day.

Re-entry period - time from application until people and animals can enter the treated area:

  • Do not enter until the spray liquid on the plant surface has completely dried.

Succeeding crops:

  • If the treated plantation is removed earlier, it is not possible to plant or sow succeeding crops in the same calendar year, except for registered crops provided that no other plant protection product containing cyantraniliprole is used during that year.

Verimark 200 SL insecticide - preparation of spray liquid:

Prepare the spray liquid immediately before use. Before preparing the spray liquid, accurately determine the required volume and amount of product. Shake the contents of the package before use. The drip irrigation system should be free of residues of other plant protection products. Pour the measured amount of product into the tank partially filled with water (with the agitator on). Rinse empty packaging three times with water and pour the rinsate into the spray tank. Fill the tank with water to the required volume. Apply with the agitator on. The pH of the spray liquid in the tank should be 5-6. It is recommended to use the spray liquid within 8 hours of preparation.

Verimark 200 SL - product use instructions:

  • Do not apply to plants weakened by pests, frost, cold, excess moisture, drought, nutrient deficiency or other growth weakening factors.
  • Do not apply more than 150 g of cyantraniliprole active substance per hectare per calendar year on the treated surface, regardless of formulation type and application method.
  • For cabbage vegetables, the planting density of treated seedlings must not exceed 40,000 plants/ha.
  • Verimark 200 SC contains the active substance cyantraniliprole (a ryanodine receptor modulator), classified by IRAC as group 28. Resistance management strategy includes:
− use the product only as part of an integrated protection programme involving insecticides with active substances from different IRAC groups and different modes of action (rotational or sequential use),
− do not exceed the recommended maximum number of treatments per growing season (crop cycle),
− do not use doses lower than recommended, including when part of tank mixes,
− schedule treatments using available pest monitoring methods considering damage thresholds,
− avoid (if possible) using products with active substances from IRAC group 28 on two consecutive pest generations,
− apply IRAC group 28 products so that their activity period does not exceed half of the crop's growing season,
− for cabbage vegetables, do not use IRAC group 28 products on the same crop within 90 days of seedling treatment.
  • Temperatures below 15°C may reduce product efficacy.
  • The product provides protection for up to 14 days after application.
  • The product has only partial efficacy against thrips; therefore, optimal application conditions should be ensured when controlling this pest group.
  • For crops treated with the maximum dose of Verimark 200 SC, the use of other products containing cyantraniliprole active substance in the same calendar year is prohibited, regardless of formulation or application method.
  • When selling treated seedlings, inform the buyer of all restrictions and recommendations contained on the Verimark 200 SC label.
  • Do not contaminate water with the plant protection product or its packaging. Do not wash equipment near surface waters. Avoid water contamination via drainage ditches from farms and roads. Avoid environmental release inconsistent with intended use.
    - White head cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts: To protect aquatic organisms, a grassed buffer zone of 10 m from water bodies and watercourses must be established. To protect plants and non-target arthropods, a 1 m buffer zone from non-agricultural land must be established.
    - Strawberry (field cultivation): To protect aquatic organisms, a grassed buffer zone of 20 m from water bodies and watercourses must be established. To protect plants and non-target arthropods, a 1 m buffer zone from non-agricultural land must be established.
  • Use in permanently constructed greenhouses isolated from the soil does not require buffer zones or drift reduction techniques.
  • When used in greenhouses with bumblebees, all insects must be gathered in hives and hives closed during treatment.
  • Do not eat, drink or smoke while using the product.
  • Wear protective gloves, work clothing protecting against plant protection products, and appropriate footwear during preparation and application.
  • Immediately remove all contaminated clothing.
  • Avoid skin and eye contamination.
  • Wear protective gloves when manually planting seedlings.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
    Store plant protection products:
    − in original packaging,
− in a way preventing contact with food, beverages or feed, environmental contamination and access by third parties,
− in a dry and cool place.
