Description
SORIALE is a fungicide in the form of a water-soluble concentrate (SL), with systemic action for preventive use.
Active substance content: Potassium phosphonates (compound from the phosphonate group) - 755 g/l (51.7%)
The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted orchard sprayers or handheld sprayers.
Registered for use on:
- apple tree
- pear tree
SORIALE action
- stimulates the plant's own resistance in the fight against diseases.
- maintains the plant's vigilance against infections and ensures a natural immune response
- is rapidly absorbed and spreads systemically throughout the plant, thereby protecting new growth.
- positively affects the health maintenance of shoots and buds throughout the season
- reduces infection pressure from diseases
- easily mixes with other plant protection products, e.g. those containing captan and dithianon
- Soriale also has a direct fungicidal effect, slowing down mycelium growth and inhibiting spore formation.
Phosphorous acid is highly mobile in the plant
- phosphorous acid (H3PO3) is highly mobile in the vascular bundles.
- activates plant defence mechanisms
- by moving, it protects new growth
- corrects errors in application technique
- has a broad fungistatic and bacteriostatic spectrum
Residue management
potassium phosphonate: MRL (NDP) for pome fruits = 150 mg/kg.
Phosphonates used according to the permitted maximum dose and minimum pre-harvest interval of 35 days result in residues lower than the currently applicable MRLs in the EU, as well as lower than 33% of the MRLs required by some retail chains.
Early season application (before the fruit reaches 10% of its final size, BBCH 71) minimises residues due to their degradation and dilution in the growing fruit tissue.
