TAMIZAN 040 OD is a herbicide in the form of an oil suspension for dilution with water, applied foliarly in maize cultivation.

The product is a non-selective systemic herbicide. It is mainly absorbed through

the leaves and rapidly translocated within the plant, inhibiting its growth and development. Weed growth is

inhibited shortly after application, followed by gradual discoloration of the plants. Weeds die completely 20-25 days after treatment. The product is most effective on young, vigorously growing weeds in the 2-4 leaf stage (dicotyledonous weeds) or from the 3-leaf stage to the end of tillering (monocotyledonous weeds). Warm and humid weather accelerates the product's action, while dry conditions may delay it.

nikosulfuron (a compound from the sulfonylurea derivatives group) - 40 g/l (4.15%)

Sensitive weeds: common chickweed, shepherd's purse

Moderately sensitive weeds: one-sided grass, scentless mayweed, cleavers

Resistant weeds: field violet, white goosefoot, bindweed knotweed
