Xapiro 050 SC is an effective and versatile acaricide in the form of a suspension concentrate (SC), intended for the control of the most harmful mites infesting orchards, berry crops, vegetable crops and ornamental plants. It contains fenpyroximate (50 g/l) – an active substance from the phenoxypyrazole group (IRAC 21A), with contact and stomach action.

Mode of action
Fenpyroximate disrupts cellular respiration processes in mites, leading to their rapid immobilisation and death. The product acts on all mobile developmental stages of pests (larvae, nymphs, adults), but does not affect eggs. It acts on the surface – therefore thorough coverage of plants with the spray liquid is important.
Application and controlled pests
Xapiro 050 SC effectively eliminates harmful mites and spider mites in crops such as:
- Apple tree, pear tree, plum tree – fruit tree red spider mite, hop spider mite
- Strawberry, raspberry, grapevine – strawberry mite, spider mites
- Cucumber, sweet pepper, eggplant (under cover) – hop spider mite
- Ornamental plants – spider mites in nurseries and pot cultures
- Forest nurseries, young fruit trees – various mite species
Usage recommendations
- Single application per season is recommended, preferably at the early stage of spider mite population development.
- The product acts quickly, but full effect is observed after several days.
- In case of high pest pressure, the treatment can be supplemented with a product with a different mode of action.
- The product can be used in integrated pest management (IPM) programmes.
Notes
- Xapiro 050 SC does not affect eggs – in case of their mass occurrence, rotation with another product is recommended.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose and number of treatments.
- Observe pre-harvest intervals and withholding periods according to the label.
