GOLD DIGGER BEAN - VARIETY FEATURES:

- Purpose: earliest production under covers (polytunnels), under fleece and open field cultivation for the fresh market.

- Growing period: the fastest variety in the KWS yellow bean range (very early).

Gold Digger is a modern proposal from the renowned KWS Vegetables breeding, designed for producers focusing on harvest speed and the highest product quality. It is the earliest variety among yellow snap beans from this producer, allowing for an efficient start to the season and gaining a market advantage. The plant is distinguished by strong vigour and produces a very uniform final product, which significantly facilitates and speeds up harvesting and packing.

Gold Digger pods reach an optimal length of 12-13 cm and a consumer-preferred diameter of 9-10 mm. A key advantage of this variety is its excellent commercial presentation – the pods are intensely yellow and, most importantly, show a complete lack of greening tendency, maintaining a clean colour even under challenging conditions. Gold Digger is a completely stringless variety, characterised by a crisp and exceptionally tasty flesh, which builds loyalty among end consumers.

Thanks to its stability and uniformity, Gold Digger is especially recommended for accelerated production in polytunnels and under flat fleece covers. The high quality of the pods makes it a first-choice variety for farms targeting the premium segment and direct supply to shops and wholesale markets.
