Description
Ikanos 040 OD is a herbicide in the form of an oil suspension for dilution with water, applied foliar, intended for pre-emergence control of certain annual monocotyledonous weeds and some dicotyledonous weeds in maize.
The product is a selective herbicide with systemic action. It is mainly absorbed through the leaves and quickly translocated within the plant, inhibiting its growth and development. Weed growth is inhibited shortly after application, followed by gradual discoloration of the plants. Weeds die completely 20-25 days after treatment. The product is most effective on young, vigorously growing weeds. Warm and humid weather accelerates the product's action.
The product is intended for use with field sprayers.
Active substance content:
nikosulfuron (compound from the sulfonylurea derivatives group) - 40 g/l (4.36%)
