TAMIZAN 040 OD 5L (nikosulfuron)

TAMIZAN 040 OD is an oil suspension herbicide for dilution with water, used as a foliar spray in maize cultivation.

The product is a non-selective herbicide with systemic action. It is absorbed mainly through

the leaves and rapidly translocated within the plant, inhibiting its growth and development. Weed growth is

inhibited shortly after application, followed by gradual discoloration of the plants. Weeds die completely 20-25 days after treatment. The product is most effective on young, vigorously growing weeds at the 2-4 leaf stage (dicotyledonous weeds) or from the 3-leaf stage to the end of tillering (monocotyledonous weeds). Warm and humid weather accelerates the product's action, while dry conditions may delay it.
