Titus 25 WG (rimsulfuron) Corteva - herbicide

TITUS 25 WG is a herbicide in granule form for preparing a water suspension, applied foliarly, intended for post-emergence control of couch grass and annual monocotyledonous weeds (grass weeds) as well as some dicotyledonous weeds in maize, potato and tomato.

Content of active substance: rimsulfuron – a compound from the sulfonylurea derivatives group – 25% (250 g per 1 kg of product).

The product is intended for use with field sprayers.

EFFECT ON WEEDS

TITUS 25 WG is a selective herbicide with systemic action. It is mainly absorbed through the leaves and quickly translocated within the plant, inhibiting weed growth and development. The herbicidal effect is visible within 7 - 20 days after application. It works best on annual weeds at the 2 - 3 leaf stage. Couch grass should have 5 - 7 leaves at the time of application (i.e. height 15 - 25 cm). The product shows active selectivity, meaning maize, potatoes and tomatoes break it down into inactive compounds.

Sensitive weeds:

common bluegrass, small geranium, one-sided grass, common fumitory, common chickweed, purple dead-nettle, couch grass, cleavers, volunteer oilseed rape, rough pigweed, shepherd's purse, field pennycress.

Moderately sensitive weeds:

field violet, white goosefoot, climbing knotweed, round-leaved spurge.

Moderately resistant weeds:

Persian speedwell.
