FEATURES OF THE WINTER RYE DAŃKOWSKIE DIAMENT VARIETY:

Winter rye Dańkowskie Diament is a highly valued population variety, known as the leader in resistance to basal stem diseases. This makes it exceptionally suitable for cultivation in cereal monoculture. The plants have slightly shortened stems, which translates into very high lodging resistance rated at 6 on a 9° scale. However, it is important to remember that with intensive cultivation technology, stem shortening treatments and appropriate fungicide protection, especially against brown rust, are recommended.

This variety stands out on the market for its phenomenal yield quality. The grain is characterised by a high Thousand Grain Weight (TGW) and very high protein content (rating 7). High falling number, high maximum starch paste viscosity, and high final pasting temperature make it a premium raw material for milling and baking. Additionally, good resistance to grain sprouting in the ear protects the yield quality even during unfavourable, rainy harvest weather, maintaining optimal parameters for a long time.

Advantages of choosing Winter Rye DAŃKOWSKIE DIAMENT:

  • No. 1 in monoculture: The highest resistance to basal stem diseases ensures safety and profitability of cultivation even with poor crop rotation.
  • Ideal for milling and baking purposes: Outstanding baking properties, including high falling number and high starch paste quality, guarantee easy grain sales in mills.
  • Safe harvest: Very high lodging resistance (6) and good resistance to grain sprouting in the ear preserve commercial yield quality in rainy years.
