Agil-S 100 EC is a plant protection product, specifically a selective herbicide (plant protection product). It has systemic action. It is applied foliarly as a concentrate for preparing an aqueous emulsion (EC).

You can use Agil-S 100 EC to control: volunteer cereals, couch grass, blackgrass, annual meadow-grass, wild oats and other monocotyledonous weeds in certain agricultural, vegetable and orchard crops.

The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers or self-propelled or tractor-mounted orchard sprayers equipped with a herbicide boom.

What is the content of the active substance in Agil-S 100 EC?

  • Active substance content: Propachizafop (a compound from the aryloxyphenoxypropionic acid derivatives group) - 100 g/l (9.61%).

Other hazardous substances not being the active substance: solvent naphtha heavy aromatic hydrocarbons.

How does the herbicide Agil-S work?

The product is first rapidly absorbed through the leaves. Then it moves to the roots and rhizomes of the weeds. It then causes inhibition of plant growth and development.

When will I see the first symptoms of Agil-S herbicide action?

The effect of the product will be visible already 3 days after treatment. It will manifest as yellowing, followed by dying of the youngest leaves.

Will rainfall reduce the effectiveness of Agil-S 100 EC?

Rainfall occurring within one hour after treatment does not affect the product's effectiveness.

The period from the last application of the product to the day of harvest (pre-harvest interval) for sugar beet, head cabbage, bean, carrot, parsley, celeriac, parsnip, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, fodder beet, red beet is 28 days. Winter oilseed rape – 42 days. Potato – 40 days. Green pea, dry pea, broad bean, lupin (white lupin, yellow lupin, narrow-leafed lupin), fenugreek, field bean – 45 days. In case of earlier ploughing of the treated plantation (e.g. due to frost damage or damage by diseases or pests), dicotyledonous plants or plants for which the product is recommended for weed control can be cultivated.

What are the recommendations for controlling weeds with the spray liquid (herbicide) Agil-S 100 EC?

Do not use the product:

– during wind conditions that may cause spray drift onto neighbouring crops, especially monocotyledonous plants (e.g. maize, cereals),

– during prolonged drought or at air temperatures exceeding 27ºC.

During application, avoid:

– spray drift onto neighbouring plantations of cultivated plants,

– overlapping of spray liquid at the edges of treated strips and headlands.
