Bio Algen S90

The organic fertiliser Bio-Algeen S90 is a natural extract from sea algae and seaweed. The beneficial effects of such an extract have been known for quite some time, but only in the last decade has the preparation of a natural product from brown sea algae (one of the oldest plants on earth) begun. The biostimulant called Bio-Algeen S90 is produced by the German company Schulze & Hermsen GmbH. Plants treated with this product develop a better root system, which increases their resistance to adverse growing conditions: water shortage, temperature fluctuations, and fungal diseases. The use of this ecological biopreparation enhances soil fertility and productivity by making nutrients more available to plants (it easily forms a calcium-humus complex). It also increases the microbiological activity of the growing medium.

Depending on the growing conditions and the plant's developmental stage, 2 to 3 applications are required. Bio-Algeen S90 applied during seed germination, seedling stage, or early growth (especially when transplanting or planting in a permanent place) stimulates and ensures the development of a strong root system. During intensive growth, it improves flowering, fruit setting, and development. It is especially recommended for use during periods of poor growth caused by root system damage or infection, excessive fruit load, or changes in growing conditions (too low or high temperatures, insufficient or excessive moisture of the growing medium). Bio-Algeen S90 can also stimulate the growth of plants weakened by diseases and pests. It can be applied both under cover and in open field cultivation. Recommended for crops: tomato, sweet pepper, lettuce, cucumber, brassicas, carrot, asparagus, celery, onion, sugar beet; ornamental plants: roses, gerbera, carnations, chrysanthemums. Successfully used in the cultivation of shrubs and fruit trees as well as for lawn care. The product positively affects the yield of agricultural plants, primarily potatoes, sugar beet, and cereals. The effectiveness of this ecological fertiliser Bio-Algeen S90 has been confirmed by Scientific Institutes and implementations by producers.

The form, frequency, and concentration of Bio-Algeen S90 depend on the species, developmental stage, and condition of the plants. We adjust it to the plant growth phase; watering is most often used during germination and initial growth, while spraying is applied during full vegetation. it is also advisable to water the plants with the product during their full growth. The concentration for watering as well as for spraying should be adjusted to the species and growth period. In conducted studies, the yield increase effect in tomato cultivation under cover was the same regardless of the method of application (spraying or watering). Already with three treatments, a 15-25% higher yield was achieved. In sweet pepper and lettuce cultivation, besides yield increase (10-20%), better crop quality was also obtained. Plants treated with the product are healthier, and in many cases, no fungal diseases were observed. Moreover, they show stronger growth, proper leaf coloration, and always visible stronger vigour.

Bio-Algeen S90 is harmless to humans and animals. It can be used together with other products. No pre-harvest interval is required.
