CUCUMBER MADMAX SVCV3848 - VARIETY FEATURES:
purpose: fresh market
Cucumber MadMax SVCV 3848 is a very early open-field cucumber variety intended for protected cultivation in spring and extended cycles. It is characterised by high yield and stable production, making it recommended both for spring planting and long production cycles.
The plant stands out with strong vigour, short internodes, and a compact, vegetative habit. It has excellent ability to produce lateral shoots, ensuring even fruit set throughout the season. The variety recovers well from stress and shows high tolerance to light deficiency, heat, and elevated EC.
The fruits are light green, very uniform, with an attractive commercial appearance and a favourable length-to-width ratio. The average fruit weight is 90–118 g, making them valued in wholesale markets and auctions. The variety is intended for production for the fresh market as a slicing or pickling cucumber.
