Description
MODE OF ACTION OF Cuprofix:
Cuprofix bases its action on a highly effective surface effect, serving as a key element in the preventive strategy for potato protection. The copper contained in the product in the form of traditional and extremely stable Bordeaux mixture thoroughly covers the above-ground parts of the plants, creating a dense, mechanical protective barrier on the surface of leaves and stems. This layer effectively blocks and paralyzes the germination of fungal spores, preventing the pathogen from penetrating deeply into plant tissues.
The product demonstrates excellent adhesion properties to the protected surface, making the protective coating highly resistant to washing off by rainfall and adverse weather conditions. Regular use of the product during periods of expected threat allows for long-term maintenance of strict protection of the crop against potato late blight attack.
CONTENT OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES:
copper (in the form of Bordeaux mixture) - 200 g/kg (20%)
Advantages of using Cuprofix:
- Reliable preventive shield: Effectively prevents fungal spores from initiating primary and secondary infections in the crop.
- Modern WG granule form: The product mixes well with water, does not produce dust during liquid preparation, and evenly covers sprayed plants.
- No risk of pathogen resistance: The contact, multi-directional mode of action of copper prevents the fungus from developing resistance to the product.
- Exceptionally long application window: Protection can be carried out from the development of the first leaf to full maturity of potato seeds (BBCH 11-89).
Pre-harvest interval:
- Potato - 14 days
