Funaben Plus 02 WS is a plant protection product manufactured by Synthos Agro. It is a fungicide. It is available in powder form (WS).

It exhibits systemic action.

It is intended for seed treatment in seed treaters adapted for liquid and suspension seed treatments.

It can be used for treating winter and spring wheat seed, as well as winter and spring barley seed. It protects against fungal diseases.

It controls seedling damping-off and wheat bunt, but additionally has another important feature, namely it controls a very important pest: the seed treatment is highly effective in destroying barley loose smut. This disease is known as the most dangerous barley disease as it can cause yield losses of up to 20%!

What is the pre-harvest interval and withholding period when using the fungicide Funaben Plus 02 WS?

The pre-harvest interval, i.e. the period from the last application of the product to the day of crop harvest, does not apply to Funaben Plus 02 WS.

Similarly, the withholding period (the period from application until people and animals can enter the treated area) does not apply to Funaben Plus 02 WS.

The feed withdrawal period (the period from the last application on plants intended for feed until animals can be fed with these plants) also does not apply.

The interval from the last application to the day when succeeding crops can be sown or planted: not applicable.

What are the recommendations when using the spray liquid prepared with Funaben Plus 02 WS?

• Treat only well-cleaned seed material.
• Seed treatment should preferably be done immediately before sowing.
• The treated seed should be thoroughly and evenly coated with the product.
  Treated seed may be used exclusively for sowing. It must not be used for consumption or feed purposes.
• Do not treat seed with moisture content above 16% or seed previously treated with another seed treatment product.
• Store treated seed in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated storage.
• If seed storage until the next season is necessary, germination capacity should be tested before sowing.
• For 100 kg of seed material, use an aqueous suspension prepared from 150 g of Funaben Plus 02 WS and 0.9 l of water per 100 kg of seed.
  Prepare the suspension in a separate container. Fill the container first with the recommended amount of water, then add the appropriate amount of Funaben Plus 02 WS without stirring until the product settles at the bottom. Only then stir the suspension thoroughly and pour it into the seed treater tank while turning on the automatic stirrer. Treat seed in mechanical continuous or batch seed treaters according to the operating instructions of the seed treater. The slow wettability of the product does not affect its uniform distribution on the seeds.
