Grandex Max is an ecological, microbiological insecticide used for the control of codling moth. It contains a naturally occurring pathogen of codling moth (entomopathogenic virus from the Baculoviridae family - Cydia pomonella). Grandex Max is effective only after ingestion by codling moth larvae. Infection by contact is not possible. It has a stomach action. After ingestion, infected larvae stop feeding and cause no further damage. Depending on the amount of substance ingested, larvae die within a few days or during further development and additionally release the virus into the environment. Grandex Max is a selective product and does not pose a threat to beneficial organisms.

The product is intended for use with orchard and handheld sprayers.

The product stored at temperatures below 5°C retains a shelf life of 2 years; upon receipt, place it immediately in a refrigerator to maintain the shelf life indicated on the packaging, otherwise use within 3 months from the delivery date.
