Description
ACTION OF HALVETIC:
Halvetic is a non-selective systemic herbicide. The product is a concentrate for preparing an aqueous solution.
The preparation is intended for foliar application - the active substance is absorbed by the green parts of plants, then moves throughout the plant and reaches its underground parts, causing inhibition of growth and development, and consequently plant death. The first symptoms of the product's action, i.e. yellowing and wilting, can be observed about 7-10 days after treatment, while complete death occurs after about 2-4 weeks. High temperature, strong sunlight and air humidity accelerate the product's action.
HALVETIC - CONTENT OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES:
glyphosate (a compound from the phosphonic acid derivatives group) in the form of isopropylamine salt - 180 g (14.83%)
SCOPE OF USE, TIMING AND DOSES:
The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.
Note:
Do not use the plant protection product in parks and public gardens, sports, recreational areas, schools, kindergartens, nurseries and healthcare facilities.
Adjust the dose of the product to the sensitivity of the dominant weed species in the given crop.

How to use Halvetic:
Maize
Maximum dose for single application: 3.0 l/ha.
Recommended dose for single application: 1.5 – 3.0 l/ha.
Application timing: apply after sowing but before maize emergence (BBCH 00-09).
Recommended water volume: 100-300 l/ha.
Lower water volume per hectare favours product efficacy.
Optimal water volume: 100 -150 l/ha.
Recommended spraying: medium droplet size.
Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.
Notes:
1. The lower recommended dose applies to controlling emerging weed seedlings.
2. Do not use on very light and sandy soils.
3. Sow maize seeds at a depth of not less than 2 cm.
After crop harvest, before starting post-harvest cultivation to control couch grass and other weeds (stubble fields)
Maximum dose for single application: 4.0 l/ha.
Recommended dose for single application: 2.5 – 4.0 l/ha.
Application timing: apply after crop harvest until late autumn on green, actively growing weeds. After crop harvest and before applying the product, do not perform any cultivation treatments, especially when controlling perennial weeds (mainly couch grass). At the time of treatment, couch grass should reach a height of at least 10-25 cm and have at least 3-4 fully developed leaves. Annual monocotyledonous weeds should be at least 5 cm tall, and dicotyledonous weeds should have fully developed two true leaves.
Recommended water volume: 100-300 l/ha.
Lower water volume per hectare favours product efficacy.
Optimal water volume: 100 -150 l/ha.
Recommended spraying: medium droplet size.
Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.
Apple and pear orchards
Maximum dose for single application: 6.0 l/ha.
Recommended dose for single application: 4.0 – 6.0 l/ha.
Application timing: apply from spring to autumn on green weeds during their intensive growth. Use higher doses on weeds strongly advanced in development.
Recommended water volume: 100-300 l/ha.
Lower water volume per hectare favours product efficacy.
Optimal water volume: 100 -150 l/ha.
Recommended spraying: medium droplet size.
Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.
Notes:
1. Before spraying, mechanically remove all root suckers of fruit trees.
2. Spray safely, preferably using sprayers with shields so that spray liquid droplets do not reach leaves, shoots and bark of trees due to the risk of plant damage.
Non-agricultural areas (tram tracks, storage yards, industrial areas, road shoulders, roads, pedestrian paths, pavements, paving, as well as other permanent structures with hard or semi-permeable surfaces where unwanted strong weed growth occurs and complete elimination is necessary)
Maximum dose for single application: 6.0 l/ha.
Recommended dose for single application: 4.0 – 6.0 l/ha.
Application timing: apply during the period of intensive growth of green plants throughout the growing season.
Adjust the dose and timing of application to the weed species present.
In case of a high proportion of perennial weeds to ensure lasting control, a second spray in the second half of the growing season is recommended.
Use self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers or backpack sprayers. When using backpack sprayers, use a 2% spray liquid concentration, e.g. 0.2 l of product per 10 litres of water.
Recommended water volume: 100-300 l/ha.
Lower water volume per hectare favours product efficacy.
Optimal water volume: 100 -150 l/ha.
Recommended spraying: medium droplet size.
Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.
Halvetic pre-harvest interval:
Apple and pear orchards – 7 days
Other uses - not required
