Mentor is a growth and development regulator and a fungicide preparation. It is available as a water-soluble concentrate (SL) with systemic action for preventive, interventive and curative use in winter oilseed rape cultivation against fungal diseases.
The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.
Mentor Sharda growth and development regulator - active substance content:
- Mepiquat chloride (compound from the piperidine – pentamethyleneimine group) – 210 g/l (20.51%),
- Metconazole (compound from the triazole group) – 30 g/l (2.93%).
Mepiquat chloride inhibits gibberellin biosynthesis, which results in the formation in autumn of a compact rosette (shoot with leaves) just above the ground. Such plants are characterised by greater frost resistance and better development in spring.
Metconazole controls fungal diseases and additionally acts as a growth regulator.
Both substances have a yield-enhancing effect by increasing the harvested mass of oilseed rape seeds.
