Description
STAMPA – effective fruit protection against storage diseases
STAMPA is a fungicide intended for the protection of apple trees and pear trees against storage diseases that can cause significant quality losses of fruit after harvest. The product contains the active substance fludioxonil (500 g/l) from the phenylpyrrole group, ensuring high efficacy.
The product is available as water-soluble granules (WG) and acts both on the surface and internally, effectively protecting the fruit both on the surface and within their tissues. STAMPA can be used preventively as well as interventively in the final period before harvest.
Mode of action
Fludioxonil acts by disrupting signal transduction processes in fungal pathogen cells, leading to inhibition of their growth and development. This mechanism ensures high efficacy in protecting fruit from infections occurring before harvest and during storage.
The active substance belongs to FRAC group 12, allowing safe inclusion of STAMPA in anti-resistance strategies in orchard protection.
Application and controlled diseases
STAMPA is intended for use in apple and pear orchards, where it effectively limits the development of storage diseases.
- bitter rot of fruit
- grey mould
The product can be applied preventively or interventively from about 6 weeks before harvest until the fruit reaches consumption maturity, helping to maintain their high commercial quality.
Usage recommendations
The product should be applied using orchard sprayers, following good agricultural practice principles.
- apply in the final pre-harvest period
- perform treatments preventively or interventively
- adhere to recommended doses and intervals between treatments
- apply a maximum of two treatments per growing season
Benefits of using STAMPA
- effective protection against storage diseases
- surface and internal action
- possible use shortly before harvest
- improvement of quality and shelf life of stored fruit
- support of anti-resistance strategy (FRAC 12)
Notes
STAMPA should be used according to the plant protection product label recommendations and integrated pest management principles.
To reduce the risk of pathogen resistance development, it is recommended to rotate fungicides with different modes of action and to observe the maximum number of treatments per season.
Required pre-harvest intervals and withholding periods specified on the product label must also be observed.
