Winter triticale Orinoko is considered one of the most popular varieties in Poland. The variety is intended for cultivation on medium-quality soils using medium-intensive and intensive technology. 

Advantages of the Orinoko variety:

-high yield,

-large grain,

-very good disease resistance, especially to snow mould, powdery mildew, rhynchosporium, brown and yellow rust, fusarium ear blight, and septoria leaf blotch,

-very good winter hardiness,

-shortened stem and high lodging resistance,

-one of the highest resistances to grain sprouting in the ear,

-high tillering capacity.
