Description

FEATURES OF THE WINTER WHEAT EUFORIA VARIETY:

Winter wheat EUFORIA is an absolute leader in Polish fields. It has built its position on outstanding winter hardiness (rating 5.5-6.0), making it the safest choice even in years with extremely cold winters. The plants show average soil requirements and fantastic tolerance to acidification (pH 5.0) and periodic drought (rating 7.0), which ensures stable yields on poorer, mosaic sites. Moreover, this variety is characterised by comprehensive and very high resistance to fungal diseases, including outstanding resistance to yellow rust, significantly reducing fungicide protection costs.

Euforia produces heavy, exceptionally uniform grain (88% uniformity, TGW 43 g), which guarantees high flour yield. Extremely high falling number (rating 9) and high resistance to lodging and pre-harvest sprouting ensure safe and easy harvesting, even in unfavourable weather. The variety is also 100% safe when using herbicides based on chlorotoluron.

Advantages of choosing Winter Wheat EUFORIA:

  • Armoured crop health: Outstanding resistance to yellow rust (rating 9) and high resistance to powdery mildew, basal stem diseases, brown leaf spot, fusarium head blight and septoria glume blotch (rating 8).
  • Unrivalled winter hardiness: The highest yielding wheat in Poland with winter hardiness rated at 5.5-6.0, guaranteeing survival of harsh winters.
  • Reliability on difficult sites: Very good tolerance to soil acidification (5.0) and periodic drought (7.0) allows cultivation on poorer fields.
  • Effortless weed control: Full resistance to the active substance chlorotoluron facilitates and reduces the cost of autumn herbicide protection.
