Description
Content of active substances:
Composition of Fundamentum:
- tribenuron methyl (compound from the sulfonylurea derivatives group) –400 g/kg (40.0%)
- metsulfuron methyl (compound from the sulfonylurea derivatives group) –135 g/kg (13.5%)
- florasulam (compound from the triazolopyrimidine group) –165 g/kg (16.5%)
Composition of Yodo:
- jodosulfuron methyl sodium (compound from the sulfonylurea derivatives group) – 100 g/l (9.26%
Benefits:
- combination of four active substances ensures effective control of a wide spectrum of weeds
- selective for cereals from the beginning of tillering phase
- indispensable in the control of cleavers, purple dead-nettle and pink dead-nettle, cornflower and many monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds
- highly effective when applied to young, vigorously growing weeds
- works on weeds even at low temperatures
Effect on weeds
The herbicide contains an active substance classified as an acetolactate synthase (ALS) inhibitor, which causes blocking of branched-chain amino acid biosynthesis, leading to disturbances in protein biosynthesis. Yodo 100 OD is mainly absorbed through weed leaves, to a lesser extent through their roots, then quickly moves within the plant causing inhibition of weed growth and development.
The first effects of weed control appear after a few days. Symptoms first appear on the upper parts of the plant growth meristems as chlorosis and necrosis. New upper leaves wilt, followed gradually by leaves from lower parts of the plant. Some weed species show reddening of leaf veins.
Herbicide spraying with jodosulfuron Yodo 100 OD most effectively destroys annual weeds at the 2-3 leaf stage. The herbicidal effect is achieved after 14 - 28 days. The speed of action depends on the weed developmental stage and prevailing weather conditions – temperature, air humidity.
Use of the product:
Yodo 100 OD herbicide is applied using self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers. This plant protection product is intended for use exclusively with an adjuvant containing mefenpyr-diethyl (Adjuvant super or Adjusafner) at a maximum dose of 0.1 l/ha.
Application timing: spray in spring after the start of plant vegetation until the beginning of stem elongation phase (up to BBCH 30).
Maximum/recommended single application dose: Yodo 100 OD 0.1 l/ha + Adjuvant super / Adjusafner 0.1 l/ha
Recommended water volume: 200-300 l/ha.
Recommended spraying: medium droplet size.
Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.
Sensitive weeds: small geranium, common chickweed, purple dead-nettle, pink dead-nettle, corn poppy, sea mayweed, brome grass, field forget-me-not, ivy-leaved speedwell, cleavers, chamomile, volunteer oilseed rape, shepherd's purse, field pennycress.
Moderately sensitive weeds: field violet, Persian speedwell.
Moderately resistant weeds: common speedwell, blackgrass.
Resistant weeds: cornflower.
