Description
KALPRIM
liquid fertiliser containing potassium (400 g K2O per 1 litre) in a form quickly absorbed by plants. Used in foliar feeding treatments, it rapidly supplies potassium to plants. KALPRIM can also be applied as a soil fertiliser during irrigation - fertigation of crops in soil and organic growing media (coconut, peat substrates and others).
COMPOSITION: total nitrogen (N) - 44 g/l (3.0%); amide nitrogen (NH2) - 44 g/l (3.0%); potassium oxide (K2O) - 400 g/l (27.0%)
KALPRIM is used prophylactically during periods of increased plant demand for potassium. The fertiliser is recommended in cases of soil and crop conditions limiting the availability of this nutrient to plants (low pH, low soil moisture, high calcium and/or magnesium content, medium and heavy soils, high light intensity).
Applied at timings and doses recommended in fertilisation programmes for individual species, it effectively supplements and/or corrects soil fertilisation and supplies potassium easily absorbed by plants during phases when they show the greatest demand for this element.
Intervention feeding is advisable when visual symptoms of potassium deficiency appear on plants or when plant material analysis results indicate too low potassium content (hidden deficiencies).
Potassium (K) supplied in KALPRIM fertiliser positively affects yield size and quality by:
- proper water management in plants
- increasing plant drought tolerance
- enhancing winter and frost resistance
- improving disease resistance
- increasing the content of carbohydrates, organic acids, proteins, carotene and vitamins B1 and C
- improving the consumption value (taste, aroma, colour, size) of storage organs such as roots, tubers, onions and fruits and seeds
- reducing the content of harmful nitrites and nitrates in the yield.
