Description

How to use Principal Flex?

Action:

Principal Flex is a selective herbicide with systemic action, applied foliarly, in the form of granules for preparing a water suspension (WG).

The product contains active substances belonging to two chemical groups with different modes of action. Nikosulfuron and rimsulfuron belong to the group of acetolactate synthase inhibitors - ALS, and their mode of action involves inhibiting the biosynthesis of three amino acids: valine, leucine, and isoleucine. This inhibits cell division in meristematic tissues, resulting in a strong limitation of weed growth and development and their gradual death.

Dikamba belongs to growth and development inhibitors. In the plant, it causes disturbances in cell division, which leads to leaf and stem deformation, growth inhibition, dwarfing, followed by chlorosis, necrosis, and plant drying.

The product is mainly absorbed through the leaves and quickly translocated within the plant.

The product is most effective on young, vigorously growing weeds.

The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.

Application:

Single application with adjuvant:

Sensitive weeds: green foxtail, common chickweed, purple dead-nettle, white goosefoot, fat hen, scentless mayweed, couch grass, cleavers, knotweed, pale persicaria, rough amaranth, shepherd's purse, green foxtail, ryegrass, small-flowered yellow cress

Moderately sensitive weeds: small cranesbill, field violet, redshank, Persian speedwell, bird's knotweed, bindweed knotweed,

Split dose application with adjuvant:

Sensitive weeds: green foxtail, common chickweed, purple dead-nettle, white goosefoot, fat hen, scentless mayweed, couch grass, cleavers, knotweed, pale persicaria, rough amaranth, shepherd's purse, ryegrass, small-flowered yellow cress

Moderately sensitive weeds: small cranesbill, field violet, redshank, Persian speedwell, bird's knotweed, bindweed knotweed

Dosage:

Maize grown for grain, maize grown for fodder

a) Single application

Maximum / recommended dose for single application: 480 g/ha.

NOTE: The product should always be used with the recommended adjuvant.

Application timing: apply the product at the 2-6 leaf stage of maize (BBCH 12 - 16), when most couch grass plants have reached 15-20 cm in height, green foxtail and other monocotyledonous weeds are at the 3-leaf stage to the end of tillering, and most dicotyledonous weeds are at the 2-4 leaf stage.

Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.

Recommended water volume: 100 - 400 l/ha.

In case of heavy weed infestation or more advanced weed growth stages, increase the water volume to at least 200 l/ha.

Recommended spraying: medium droplet size.

b) Split dose application

In case of strong weed pressure or when thermal conditions may increase the risk of possible maize plant damage, split doses are recommended.

NOTE: The product should always be used with the recommended adjuvant.

First treatment

Maximum/recommended dose for single application: 240 g/ha.

Application timing: apply the product at the 2-3 leaf stage of maize (BBCH 12-13)

Second treatment

Maximum/recommended dose for single application: 240 g/ha.

Application timing: apply the product at the 4-6 leaf stage of maize (BBCH 14-16).

Interval between treatments: 7 – 10 days.

Recommended water volume: 100-400 l/ha.

In case of heavy weed infestation or more advanced weed growth stages, increase the water volume to at least 200 l/ha.

Recommended spraying: medium droplet size.

Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1 (single application) or 2 (split doses).
