BROAD BEAN BARTOM - VARIETY CHARACTERISTICS:
purpose: for direct consumption and processing
growing period: approx. 90 days
- The plant reaches a height of approx. 90-100 cm.
- The variety produces pods 8-12 cm long, containing 3-5 seeds, which are creamy with a light mark when fresh, while dry seeds are beige.
The weight of 1000 fresh seeds is approx. 3700g (depending on agrometeorological conditions).
Cultivation:
- Prefers heavier soils, such as alluvial soils, black earths and peats. The growing medium should have a high water capacity.
- Seeds are recommended to be sown at a spacing of 60x10 cm
