CARROT BRILLYANCE F1 - VARIETY CHARACTERISTICS 

Carrot Brillyance F1 is a mid-early variety with a vegetation period of about 135 days. It produces long, cylindrical roots with smooth skin and an intense orange colour, without a tendency for green shoulders. Thanks to its strong, healthy tops, the variety is well suited for mechanical harvesting and machine processing.

Main features of the variety:

- vegetation period: approx. 135 days,

- cylindrical, long and smooth roots,

- no tendency for green shoulders,

- strong and healthy tops facilitating mechanical harvesting,

- light green foliage,

- high disease resistance:

• (HR) Alternaria dauci, powdery mildew, Cercospora carotae, Pythium spp., Rhexocercosporidium carotae,
• medium resistance to carrot fly, cavity spot and black root spot.

Application: 

Brillyance F1 is a variety with wide application – suitable for the fresh market, processing (juices, slices), as well as for cold storage, maintaining high root quality.
