CARROT MELODIO F1 - VARIETY FEATURES:
intended use: fresh market, storage
vegetation period: 130-140 days
Carrot Melodio F1 is a late Nantes-type variety with a vegetation period of 130–140 days. It produces smooth, well-coloured, blunt-ended roots measuring 18–20 cm in length, with a small core. The variety is intended both for the fresh market and for long-term storage.
Thanks to its well-set, strong tops and lack of cracking tendency, Melodio F1 is ideal for mechanical harvesting and machine processing. It shows IR-type resistance to powdery mildew, which increases crop safety.
