Description

Click Premium (mesotrione, terbuthylazine) Sumi Agro - herbicide

Benefits of using Click Premium herbicide, Sumi Agro:

  • Effective agent against monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds,
  • Wide spectrum of controlled weeds,
  • Double weed control power thanks to the use of two active substances with different modes of action,
  • Dedicated action - for use in maize cultivation,
  • Wide application window - flexible use,
  • Safe for crops - no negative impact on maize - high yield despite treatment.

Click Premium is a selective herbicide in the form of a concentrate suspension for dilution with water (SC). It exhibits systemic action. It is applied foliarly to control a wide range of weeds in maize cultivation.

Click Premium is intended for use by professional users with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.

Click Premium herbicide - active substance content:

  • mesotrione (compound from the triketone group) - 70 g/l (6.26%),
  • terbuthylazine (compound from the triazine group) – 330 g/l (29.52%).

Click Premium Sumi Agro - mode of action:

Click Premium contains two active substances with different modes of action. Mesotrione is classified as an inhibitor of the biosynthesis of photoactive pigments, which consequently leads to inhibition of carotenoid biosynthesis manifested by leaf bleaching. Mesotrione is mainly absorbed through leaves and additionally through weed roots and is rapidly translocated within the plant, inhibiting its growth and development. First symptoms appear 5-7 days after treatment. Weed death occurs after about 14 days. Terbuthylazine is classified as a photosynthesis inhibitor at photosystem II level, which leads to inhibition of photosynthesis. Terbuthylazine is mainly absorbed by plant roots, initially causing leaf chlorosis visible especially in interveinal spaces, as well as on edges and tips. Often symptoms are not even visible, as weed death occurs during emergence. Terbuthylazine application limits weed emergence for 6-8 weeks after treatment. After application, weeds are destroyed both during and after emergence. Moderate rainfall and warm weather favour the product's action.

Which weeds does Click Premium herbicide control?

Sensitive weeds:

  • common lambsquarters,
  • small geranium (treatment to be performed no later than cotyledon stage),
  • green foxtail (control until tillering using the higher recommended dose),
  • field violet,
  • field mustard,
  • common chickweed,
  • purple dead-nettle,
  • white goosefoot,
  • field bindweed,
  • field pansy,
  • scentless mayweed,
  • field dandelion,
  • speedwells,
  • cleavers,
  • black nightshade,
  • knotweed,
  • spotted knotweed,
  • hedge bindweed,
  • bird knotweed,
  • field chamomile,
  • volunteer oilseed rape (treatment to be performed at early weed development stages),
  • rough amaranth,
  • shepherd's purse,
  • field pennycress,
  • round-leaved fluellen.

Resistant weeds:

  • couch grass,
  • wild oats,
  • field poppy,
  • hairy brome.

Click Premium Sumi Agro herbicide can be used in crops:

  • Maize.

Click Premium herbicide - crop rotation:

If it is necessary to plough earlier a field treated with Click Premium (due to maize damage from hail, diseases, pests or frost), maize or perennial ryegrass can be grown on the field. After deep ploughing, besides the above-mentioned crops, sorghum can also be grown. After harvesting maize grown under normal vegetation conditions and weeded with Click Premium by 1 July, all crops can be sown after deep ploughing. When growing sensitive crops such as beet, legumes, winter oilseed rape, sunflower and vegetables, as well as early-sown winter cereals, damage may occur. Under extremely unfavourable conditions (sandy soils, easily drying soils, soils with low pH [< 6.0], soils with high organic matter content [>4.0%], soils with low biological activity, excessively compacted soils, exceptionally low soil moisture in summer and/or autumn and/or winter, exceptionally low winter temperatures, overlapping sprayed areas) temporary bleaching, growth inhibition, and reduced stand in sensitive crops (beet, legumes, sunflower and vegetables) may occur. Therefore, growing the above-mentioned crops as succeeding crops is not recommended if soil pH is significantly below 6.0 or if a prolonged drought occurred after product application in the previous season. Deep ploughing after maize cultivation and soil pH above 6.0 significantly reduce the risk of damage to these crops.

Click Premium herbicide - safety intervals and pre-harvest interval:

Safety interval - the period from product application until people and animals can enter the treated area:

  • Do not enter until the spray liquid has completely dried on the plant surfaces.

Pre-harvest interval - the period from the last application to crop harvest:

  • Not required.

Period from the last application to the day when succeeding crops can be sown or planted:

  • Consider crop rotation.
